OUTINGS 2023

Reservations are only made on receipt of the booking form and cheque. Confirmation will be sent out when bookings on the particular outing have reached a viable number. Seats on the coach are allocated in the order in which bookings are received. Should you wish to sit adjacent to friends, please book together.

Outings are not always full immediately so do check with the organiser if you are unsure.

Refunds for cancellations made after confirmation of bookings will only be given if places can be reallocated and will be subject to a deduction of £5.00 per person towards expenses. If an outing has to be cancelled and an alternative venue cannot be found a full refund will be made. If the alternative venue is not acceptable a full refund will also be made.

Some venues have steep slopes and steps so please think about your own fitness & mobility when booking. May we remind you that suitable footwear is advisable.

Coach departs Stourport 9.00am and Stourbridge 9.30am

Belvoir Castle has been the ancestral home of the Dukes of Rutland for 1,000 years. It stands high on a hill overlooking 16,000acres of woodland and farmland. Our visit will be free flow allowing ample time to enjoy all Belvoir has to offer.

THURSDAY 13TH JULY 2023 ACTON SCOTT HALL,  CHURCH STRETTON  SY6 6QQ . Please note this is NOT the same as Acton Scott Farm Museum.

This is a car outing and a private visit to the home of Francis & Alison Acton who will guide us around their fine Jacobean home set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. At about 4.30pm we will be treated to tea and homemade cakes. Apparently, B&B is available should anyone wish to stay the night! Directions will be available for those who need them.

We are asked to arrive at 2.30 pm.

Cost £23.00 includes admission and refreshments.

TUESDAY 1ST AUGUST 2023 ELTON HALL, CAMBRIDGESHIRE

Coach departs Stourport 8.00am and Stourbridge 8.30am

A private visit to Elton Hall, home to the Proby family since 1660. The property is a magnificent mixture of styles, and every room contains treasures of wonderful furniture and paintings, some by 15century old masters as well as British artists, Constable, Gainsborough and Reynolds. The gardens won the Garden of the Year Award from Historic Houses in 2021 and will hopefully provide us with a colourful display in August.

Cost £44.00 includes coach, tips, admission and lunch.
