It is with much sadness and regret that I inform you of the recent and sudden death of the Centre’s Vice Chairman and programme secretary, Margaret Duerden.
She had served the Centre for over 35 years and was a long standing, active and loyal supporter of the National Trust, and had been a volunteer at Snowshill Manor for many years. She will be greatly missed by all involved with the Centre and by her many friends.
Margaret played such an important part in the development of the Centre and it was always a pleasure to work with her. It will be hard to see how we can move forward without her support, enthusiasm and commitment – a very much valued friend and colleague.
